Communication-Platform Law
Law about notice of unlawful content on sizeable commercial digital platforms. Service providers must provide processes (1) for noticing such content. Obviously unlawful content must be taken down by the provider immediately (24 hours), otherwise within 7 days, and (2) for reviewing the take-down decision. Fines up to 10 million Euros.
Audiovisual Media Services Law
Law transposing EU Directive 2010/13 (Audiovisual Media Services Directive). Section 9b of the law: Video-sharing platforms must register with the competent authority; services must not contain illegal content as defined in the EU directive; must establish a notice-and-take-down procedure. Fines up to 150 000 Euro.
Television and on-demand audiovisual services Law
Revised national Television law incorporating content standards for all audiovisual media, both traditional TV broadcasts, on-demand services, and video-sharing platforms. The revised law aims to create a safer, fairer and more diverse audiovisual landscape.
